ARE ORIENTANA COSMETICS SAFE FOR PREGNANT WOMEN

Orientana is a brand of natural cosmetics. We take care that formulations of our cosmetics are protected from growing microorganisms and fungus and we use as a protection mild preservative accepted in natural cosmetics by EU law.  You must know that according to European law all cosmetics that are not based exclusively on oils and have water in composition must be preserved.  What is more, special tests, the so-called challenge tests are required to prove that a cosmetic is safe before launching it to the market. The tests check the protection of formulas against microorganisms that would do harm to the skin if they grow in the product. In Orientana we use preservatives of plant origin which are safe to human organism thus making no harm for pregnant woman. Please remember that pregnancy is time for hormone changes and you can react to many ingredients in a different way that you used to.  Your skin may be more sensitive and react strongly for some components.  That is why you should observe your skin carefully during all pregnancy period. Also, some fragrances which used to be your favourite or at least not disturbing may now make you anxious. We assure you that we have limited the chemical ingredients to absolute minimum and we have had only positive comments from pregnant mums.Many of our customers are asking if our BREAST BIO OIL can be used by pregnant or breast-feeding woman.
