LET’S TAKE CARE OF SENSITIVE AND DELICATE SKIN AROUND OUR EYES!

Why do we care for the skin around eyes differently from facial skin routine? Is it possible to enjoy a fresh, illuminated look for a long time?
An eye cream is a must and we need to invest in the best working eye creams! Especially when you are 25. Around that age we start to notice small lines and crow’s feet around the eyes. Hello ! First wrinkles suddenly appear! The skin around eyes is very delicate and sensitive – it is even 7 times thinner than in other parts of face and has several dozen times less sebaceous glands. What’s more, it has fewer collagen fibres. Hence, it quickly becomes dry, irritated and less flexible. That is why it is important to know the time when we should start applying eye cream!
It is important that an eye cream has proper texture – it cannot be too heavy since the skin area is very thin and delicate. Eye creams in comparison to face creams should have a minimal amount of preservatives and very delicate fragrances to minimize the risk of allergies.

What problems do we struggle with around the eyes most often? How can we solve them?

• dark circles under the eyes – they make our face look tired and sad. Often our genes influence our look. But also what has a great influence on our appearance are such factors as lack of sleep, fatigue or disorders of microcirculation, stress and overwork. In this case, let’s look for ingredients in the cream that will improve the functioning of blood vessels. Such natural plant ingredients are caffeine, arnica, butcher’s-broom, green tea, Japanese ginkgo and peony. You can also deal with under eye shadows by applying creams that optically brighten the skin due to the content of light reflecting ingredients such as mica.

• bags under the eyes or puffiness around the eyes – they spoil our good mood starting from the early morning. In this case genes may influence the look. However bags and puffiness are also the result of an inadequate diet (too much salt) or unhealthy lifestyle (lack of sleep). Lymphatic stasis forms because the blood circulates around the eyes more slowly. You can make morning massage around the eyes, which will improve microcirculation. This thus will nourish and oxygenate the skin and help eliminate swelling. Also, cold creams from the fridge are perfect for eye treatment.

• crow’s feet also called mimic wrinkles – at the beginning they appear only when we squint or laugh, but after some time they become permanent and make us look older. How to deal with them? Choose creams that contain anti-wrinkle natural substances such as stoechiol, hyaluronic acid or vitamin E. They will help smooth and reduce wrinkles and increase skin firmness. The innovative plant complex will work intensively against wrinkles: ginger extracts (Zingiber Offinale) and galangal (Alpinia Officinarum) extracted in rapeseed oil (Brassica Campestris). This complex is rich in phenols and natural vitamin E and has strong antioxidant properties (35x times stronger than base oil itself). It helps to protect the skin against factors accelerating the aging process and regenerates barrier of the epidermis. The snail’s slime, which contains collagen and elastin, has a great effect on our eye area. It will strengthen the skin, giving it elasticity and firmness. Mucopolysaccharides will also help the skin and will protect it against aging, support the production of collagen and help maintain hydration

Apart from rich nourishing of the eye area, always remember about the correct makeup removal. As you know how sensitive and eye epidermis is, remember about proper ingredients in makeup cleansing products. It is worth to choose a product with soothing plant extracts and oils. Also remember that a proper technique is crucial. Do not rub or stretch the skin around your eyes. Precise make-up removal is the first step to a beautiful, deep and fresh look. The cream put on thoroughly cleansed skin around the eyes will be able to work better and more efficient!!!
